July Newsletter: Rosiglitazone Risk of MI

You may have seen the results of the recent meta-analysis in the NEJM regarding Rosiglitazone and the increase in risk of MI. The analysis was carried out using Peto Odds Ratios as the event rates were very low in many of the trials. I have re-analysed this data and added the results of the ongoing RECORD study, presenting the results as a pooled risk difference.
